Dr. Emily Edelman Fox is a licensed clinical psychologist. She provides comprehensive
evaluations and therapy for children and has an additional specialization in early childhood. Dr.

collaborative care that aligns with each family’s values. She takes an individualized approach
while supporting children’s developmental, relational, social-emotional, and behavioral growth.

Dr. Edelman Fox is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Interpersonal
Psychotherapy (IPT), and Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP). She has advanced training

childhood and school-aged populations. She also integrates techniques from Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical
Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to support regulation and resilience. Her work is grounded in
developmental, relationship-based, and behavioral approaches to support each child’s and
family’s needs.

In addition to therapy, Dr. Edelman Fox provides comprehensive neuropsychological
assessments for early childhood and school-aged children. She conducts thorough evaluations to
identify strengths, discover underlying challenges, provide diagnostic clarity, and develop
individualized, practical recommendations to support children and families across home, school,
and community settings. Common concerns for assessment and treatment include attention-
deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, anxiety and mood difficulties,
behavioral challenges, learning disorders, and trauma- and stressor-related concerns. Dr.
Edelman Fox consults and collaborates closely with professionals across disciplines to ensure
holistic and coordinated care.

Dr. Edelman Fox completed an APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital
Los Angeles (CHLA), where she provided therapy and led interdisciplinary assessments for
children from birth to age six. She also served as a fellow in both CHLA’s Graduate Psychology
Education (GPE) Program and California Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental
Disabilities (LEND), where she further strengthened her expertise in parent and child mental
health and development. As a GPE fellow, Dr. Edelman Fox provided mental health services to
children in CHLA’s Pain Clinic and to parents of hospitalized infants and young children. Prior
to CHLA, Dr. Edelman Fox completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Providence
Saint John’s Child and Family Development Center in Santa Monica. In this role, she provided
assessment, therapy, and consultation across early childhood and general child and family
outpatient teams and in a hospital-based clinic at Saint John's Cleft Palate Center.
